-  Who is your target audience?

 

-  What are the overall goals you intend to reach with this information?

-  What is the primary message you wish to convey to your audience with this logo or site or  marketing material?

 

-  How does the company differentiate itself from competitors? If you have competitors who are they?

 

-  What are the key reasons why customers would choose your company? How do you position yourself as different to the next company?

 

-  Are there cultural factors that will affect the interface design?

 

-  List any logo’s or sites or marketing material you find compelling. What do you find most interesting about these?

 

-  Do you have a logo or look already? (Relates to sites or marketing material)

 

-  List examples of competitors and briefly state what you like and dislike.

 

-  What is the primary action you wish your target user to take before leaving your site? Or seeing your logo or piece of marketing material.

 

-  How is your company currently perceived? Do you wish to carry the same kind of message through this time round.

 

-  Use three adjectives to describe how this information should be perceived by the user. (examples: conservative, progressive, friendly, formal, casual, serious, energetic, humorous, professional)
